Hunter

New album coming soon – release concert February 13th at TaG/Theater an der Gumpendorfer Straße!

Philip Yaeger’s all-star Vienna band is something of a local legend – with As Long As We’re Here, Hunter finally returns to the stage. Yaeger tells stories, in words and music, of love amidst crumbling walls, uncertain times…and of the hope of renewal. Hunter delights and fascinates with a unique mixture of jazz, post-rock, and soul, full of sweet melancholy, captivating energy, and its members’ infectious joy of playing. Music against the night.

Hunter features some of the Vienna scene’s most exciting musicians: Martin Eberle (Soap&Skin, 5K HD, Die Strottern), Anna Tsombanis (Tsombanis4), Peter Rom (Max Nagl, Dorian Concept), Benny Omerzell (5K HD, Lylit) Helene Glüxam (Kurdophone), Valentin Duit (Dsilton), and special guest Emily Stewart (Soap&Skin, Belle & Sebastian) bring Yaeger’s music to vivid life.

Available February 14th on CD and LP via JazzWerkstatt Records and digitally via the usual suspects. Please consider supporting us with a purchase rather than simply streaming.
